An eSIM adapter is a physical SIM-sized card that can store eSIM profiles. Some people use it to add eSIM support to a phone that is not eSIM compatible.
WonderConnect eSIMs are designed for phones and devices with built-in eSIM support. We do not know if WonderConnect eSIMs are compatible with every eSIM adapter.
An eSIM adapter usually works like this:
1. You insert the adapter into the physical SIM slot of your phone.
2. You install the adapter manufacturer's app.
3. You use that app to install eSIM profile by scanning a QR code or entering activation details.
4. The adapter stores the eSIM profile.
5. Your phone reads the adapter like a SIM card.
The exact steps depend on the adapter brand and app. All adapters are third-party products. They are not made or managed by WonderConnect.
If you installed the eSIM on the adapter but mobile data does not work, restart your phone. Restarting the phone may help the adapter connect to the network again.
We cannot troubleshoot the adapter, the adapter app, or the process of saving the eSIM profile onto the adapter.
If the eSIM cannot be added to the adapter, the adapter app shows an error, or the adapter is not detected by your phone, contact the adapter manufacturer or adapter provider.
Some adapters may work with some travel eSIM providers, but this does not guarantee they will work with WonderConnect eSIMs. Compatibility can depend on the adapter, the phone, the adapter app, and the eSIM profile.
