"Access Point Name settings are not available for this user" on Android devices

This message usually appears when no APN has been added for the eSIM. You need to add the APN manually.

If you see the message "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user," it means you have to add an APN manually.

On the Access Point Names screen, tap the + icon at the top.
Enter data.esim in the Name field.
Enter data.esim in the APN field.
Save the new APN.
Go back to the list of Access Point Names.
Select the data.esim APN you added.
Restart your phone.

After restarting, your phone should be able to connect to a supported local network.

Menu names may vary depending on your Android device model and software version.
