# How to Check and Set APN Settings

When using WonderConnect eSIM for mobile data, your APN (Access Point Name) should match the one shown in your eSIM details.

## What Are APN Settings?

APN settings tell your phone how to connect to mobile data networks. If they're incorrect or missing, your eSIM won't be able to access the internet.

> **Info:** You can find your eSIM's APN in your eSIM details - in the app (open your eSIM > Details) or on the web (log in > open your eSIM).

> **Info:** **Important:** If you've already connected to the internet using your WonderConnect eSIM before, APN settings are unlikely to be causing your current issues - the fact that you connected previously means they're already configured correctly. Check other possible solutions in our troubleshooting guide.

> **Info:** 📱**Xiaomi users:** If you have a Xiaomi phone, see our dedicated guide: [Internet doesn’t work on my Xiaomi](https://help.wonderconnect.com/en/articles/35-internet-doesn-t-work-on-my-xiaomi.md)
