Android phones can track mobile data usage over a selected period and warn you when you reach a set amount, such as 2 GB. Your phone does not automatically match this setting to the WonderConnect plan you bought.
There are two separate settings:
Data warning: shows a notification when you reach the chosen amount.
Data limit: turns off mobile data when you reach the chosen amount, if this option is enabled.
You can change or turn off these settings on your phone.
Open Settings and go to Connections.
Tap Data usage. You may see 2.00 GB beside the usage bar.
Tap Billing cycle and data warning to check the warning and limit settings.
Menu names may vary depending on your phone model.
Open Settings and go to Connections.
Tap Data usage.
Tap Billing cycle and data warning.
Tap Data warning to change the warning amount, or turn off Set data warning.
If Set data limit is on, tap Data limit to change the amount, or turn off Set data limit to prevent this setting from stopping your mobile data.
Open the WonderConnect app.
If you have several eSIMs, tap Your eSIMs and select the one you want to check.
Check Remaining data on the home screen.
Your phone’s usage counter may cover a different period from your eSIM plan. Always check the WonderConnect app to see how much data you have left.
